My name is Andy Till a working bass guitarist.

I am a freelance bass guitarist working and performing with bands, acts and singers, live work and recording.

Available for professional dep work, session, stand in, live work, recording, professional working band/s, function, cover bands and established/named. Pop, rock, soul, disco, blues, original styles.
Available to travel work U.K & abroad, passport, reliable, easy going. Fender USA Jazz /Ampeg/Peavey gear.

My style is pick style, this is a style of playing bass that i started with from day one, it found me! I use the pick as i enjoy the feel and technique. I love the tones i can get and the percussive feel.

I have an interest in the pick style influenced by players like Bobby Vega, Carol Kaye, Joe Osbourn, Paul McCartney...

My attention is to feel, groove, timing and playing for the song, making the part feel good with the drummer and note choice. Along with the pick i like to perform slap bass and finger style

My attitude to playing bass is make your own voice, feel and groove, play as many styles as possible, play different ways pick, slap, thumb, fingers, it makes you an all well rounded player.
